Washington (SmartAboutHealth) - One of the biggest questions for seniors right now is just how much more they are going to have to pay for their Medicare prescription drug plans in 2009.
The non-profit Medicare Rights Center has given an answer in a sense, and it is one that could scare seniors quite a bit.
With enrollment for many Medicare prescription drug plans already kicking off, the fear is seniors may soon no longer be able to afford the care.
The 10 largest Medicare Part 3 plans are set to see their premiums increase by over 30%.
The two largest plans are said to have their premiums go up by as much as 60%.
In some cases, Medicare premiums may soon cost around $150 per month.
This could put seniors in a tough spot as they may soon no longer be able to afford the care.
