The Justice Department put out around 100 new documents from the investigation into the 2001 anthrax case.

These documents have revealed some new information on what the FBI did in the early part of the probe.

The documents showcased that the FBI was greatly focused on scientist Steven J. Hatfill.

They attained warrants, raided his house, personal belongings, seizing video tapes, clothes, books, etc.

The documents also were shown to reveal that they raided the apartment of one other unnamed person of interest.

It was recently discovered that government scientist Bruce Ivins was behind the anthrax attacks.

Ivnis committed suicide before the FBI could arrest him.
