Houston (SmartAbouthealth) - Jordan Taylor, a 9-year-old boy from Hillsboro, Texas is doing fine after suffering from orthopedic decapitation.

He was involved in a car accident around 3-months ago which left his head detached from his body.

A team of doctors led by Dr. Richard Roberts worked to try and save the boy’s life.

They had little time, and worked quickly to re-attach the head of the young boy.

They did so by attaching his skull back to his spine using titanium rods and a metal plate.

Thankfully, the young boy is now recovering, and doctors are calling it a miracle!

After the holidays he should be back to the point where he can return to school.
