Washington (SmartAboutHealth) - The search continues in Lake Michigan to try and find the remaining 4 passengers of a plane that crashed just a few miles after take-off.

The plane took off on Friday and made it only a little ways before the plane completely lost power and crashed into Lake Michigan.

A boater in Lake Michigan managed to rescue the pilot of that plane, but unfortunately there are still 4 passengers who have not yet been found.

The other 4 passengers incldued 3 men as well as a woman.

The reports state that these 4 are still in the waters of Lake Michigan, as the search continues.

The plane crashed off of the shore of Ludington, Michigan.

Rescuers have stated that the current water conditions are 2 to 4 feet with the water temperature in the 70s.

The hope remains that due to the favorable water conditions, the survivors could still be found alive.
