New York City has always been at the forefront in regards to helping make a push for healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.

They have done this in the past with moves such as the requirement of chain restaurants to post calorie counts on menus.

They have also done this in the past by banning the use of trans fat in restaurants.

Their latest push is to cut the amount of food that is used in restaurant foods as well as other prepared foods that citizens consume.

This comes as research has shown that there is a high level of unhealthy salt or sodium in our prepared foods.

When you couple this with the fact that we also use salt from salt shakers on these foods, you have a very unhealthy situation.

New York City is leading the National Salt Reduction Initiative to cut the use of salt by 25% in packaged and restaurant foods.

This could lead to a drop in cases of high blood pressure, heart attacks, weight, etc.

Overall, with less salt, comes a healthier life for all.
