Washington (SmartAboutHealth) - People living with AIDS in Papua, Indonesia may soon have a microchip implanted into them.
Lawmakers in Papua, Indonesia want to use these microchips to monitor those infected with AIDS in the country.
People with AIDS who are still sexually active will be fitted with a chip.
Ths is going to allow authorities to track people with AIDS and keep tabs on them at all times.
The goal is to protect health people from contracting AIDS from them.
The chips will allow authorities to track, identify and monitor them at all times.
If they get someone infected with AIDS on purpose they will face jail and a $5,000 fine.
