The U.S. National Institutes of Health, Yale University, as well as the California Pacific Medical Center carried out an study which was released this week.

They analyzed over 170 studies in total from 1980 to today in order to get an idea as to how exposure to TV, Internet and video games played a role in the health of kids.

The studies, for the most part, had TV as their focal point, but also included other types of media.
