The twins baby girls, Preslee Faith Wells and Kylee Hope Wells, were born on October 25th.

Surgeons at the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center have been successful in separating these babies.

They were born joined at the chest, but a surgical team led by David Tuggle and Cameron Mantor gave them new lives this week.

A surgery was conducted on Monday morning, with them being separated an hour into it at 12:14 p.m., around an hour after the surgery began.

The total procedure was said to last about 3-hours on the first American Indian conjoined twins.
