Boston (SmartAboutHealth) - A new report has focused in on some of the issues with the battle against HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
This latest report was released by the AIDS and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa.
The idea behind the report was to shed some light on the continued issues with helping people who have developed HIV/AIDS in the nations of South Africa.
It has become clear and apparent that there continues to be problems in regards to people not being able to get their hands on the right drugs to not only treat HIV/AIDS, but to also prevent it.
Over the years, there have been successful plans to help with the fight against HIV/AIDS, such as the PEPFAR effort by former president George W. Bush during his time in office.
This new report has shown though that more is needed, as there is still discrimination in regards to who has access to drugs to treat HIV/AIDS.
There are simply not enough countries where there is enough of the population receiving the drugs and treatment they need.
