National Skin Cancer Awareness Month is here, just in time for summer.
Skin cancer, is one type of cancer that is not always fatal, and is also one that is very, very preventable.
The majority of cases of skin cancer occur when people expose themselves to a lot of sun light, also exposing themselves to dangerous UV rays which are very bad for our skin.
National Skin Cancer Awareness Month, is a time for people to educate themselves on the disease, so they will be able to protect their health.
The best way to reduce skin cancer risk, is to not over-expose yourself to sun light.
If you do feel the need to tan, do so with a sunscreen on to limit the effects of harmful rays from the sun.
