The new breast cancer screening recommendations released by the U.S. Preventive Screening Task Force have confused a great many women in America.

The new recommendations state that women should not begin to get screened for breast cancer until they are at the age of 50.

On top of that, it is also recommended that they only get screened once every 2-years.

The final piece to the new guidelines states that women over the age of 75 should no longer be screened at all.

This is very different from past recommendations, which stated they should start getting screened at age 40, with annual screenings to follow.

The U.S. Preventive Screening Task Force stated that they believe that the screenings cost too much, and have a minimal effect in terms of preventing breast cancer deaths.

Experts, as well as many women in the U.S., greatly oppose this new move.

Studies have shown that breast cancer screenings greatly reduce the breast cancer mortality rate.

This has led many to oppose the new guidelines, in the hopes that they will be changes back to their previous state.
