The CDC has put out estimates in regards to the status of the H1N1 swine flu virus in the U.S., and they are rather frightening.

What the these reports state is that there are around 61 million people who have been vaccinated against the H1N1 swine flu virus.

This works out to 20% of the entire population of the U.S.

These estimates were put together via surveys of the population that were done in December and January.

When you break it down, it works out to about 1 out of every 5 citizens in the U.S. who have been vaccinated.

Those who were considered to be at a high risk for the H1N1 swine flu virus were said to be far more likely to have been vaccinated.

The H1N1 swine flu has sickened roughly 50 million people in the U.S., leading to around 12,000 deaths.

These results were released on Friday as part of the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
