Boston (SmartAboutHealth) - The swine flu vaccines were quite prevalent this past winter, but certain states were better than others at administering it. So which state was the best out of them all?
The new report released this week has confirmed that the top state in regards to administering swine flu vaccines was the state of Massachusetts.
Data has shown that Massachusetts gave the swine flu vaccine to more people than any other state.
Even in regards to the regular flu vaccine, Massachusetts topped all other states in the U.S.
In Massachusetts alone, over 35% of residents received the H1N1 swine flu.
The regular flu vaccine was given out to over 55% of residents in the state.
This was far above the national averages of around 20% for the swine flu and 35% for the entire U.S.
Officials feel that although the H1N1 swine flu is still in decline, it could make a comeback.
This was all based on data put together by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
