Washington (SmartAboutHealth) - Scientists have come out and voiced their support of giving brain drugs such as ritalin to healthy people.
Up until now, these types of brain boosting drugs have been reserved for people with hyperactive disorder, elderly with memory problems, etc.
Scientists have now come out and stated though that healthy people may benefit from these drugs as well.
Ultimately, the drugs could help give boosts to the brains of these healthy people, giving them a higher ability ot learn and prosper.
It is currently illegal for healthy people to take prescription drugs such as this.
Scientists in the journal Nature are arguing though that these brain boosting drugs are just as normal as sleeping enough every night, eating well, etc.
These scientists who published the commentary are now asking for more information to be looked at, with added research into the benefits of these drugs.
