Tylenol has announced a recall of their Tylenol Arthritis pain pills..Washington (SmartAboutHealth) - Tylenol has announced a recall of their Tylenol Arthritis pain pills.

The recall was confirmed by the manufacturer of Tylenol, McNeil-PPC.

This is all due to an odor that is said to be coming out of the bottles of Tylenol.

This impacts only the Tylenol Arthritis Pain Caplet 100 count products available to consumers.

The bottles in question all have a red EZ-OPEN CAP.

There are no other Tylenol products involved in this recall, as this one specific type of bottled product is the only one that is being hit by it.

A chemical, 2,4,6-tribromoanisole, is said to be causing the ordor.

The odor is said to cause stomach pains, vomiting, nausea, as well as diarrhea.
