Boston (SmartAboutHealth) - A dietary supplement called Hydroxycut is being recalled because it has been linked to liver damage and death in people taking it.

The drug is marketed as one comprised of all natural ingredients, but nevertheless it is causing major health problems for people.

The drug is taken by people to help weight loss, and is also used by bodybuilders looking for a trimmer body before competitions.

The FDA has received 23 reports of liver damage, as well as one report of death in a male who experienced sudden liver failure.
