Boston (SmartAboutHealth) - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning people not to use skin products produced by Clarcon because of toxic bacteria found in some of the company products.
This is a very serious issue, and the FDA insists that any consumer who has a Clarcon skin product in their possession, throw it away and definitely not use it.
The FDA became aware of the toxic products from the company when they performed an inspection at the Clarcon production plant in Utah.
The products being recalled, are of the skin sanitizers and skin protectant kind, and include Citrushield Lotion and Antimicrobial Hand Sanitizer.
According to Bill Markham, co-owner of Clarcon, the company has not received any reports of dangerous products, and that their products do not come with any type of side effects. “Our findings are not matching their findings,” Markham says. “This may be a small, isolated issue … they only found it in a couple of [bottles].”
